Make a post from the media you have already reviewed

Clipflow Team·Progress

A finished edit can sit unused when creating its post feels like a separate job. Creating a post directly from a media file reduces that handoff, while selection filters keep outdated or declined versions out of the way.

A finished edit can sit unused when creating its post feels like a separate job. Creating a post directly from a media file reduces that handoff, while selection filters keep outdated or declined versions out of the way.

Progress update from 8 May 2026. Linked guides describe the current workflow.

TL;DR

Clipflow updates

  • Posts could be created from media files.
  • Outdated media was hidden in the selection modal, and declined media was hidden from the project manager.
  • Media-status notifications and task-template duplication were added.
  • The team was handling a disabled Instagram account while continuing product work.

Putting it to work

  • Create the draft from the reviewed file, then check the caption and destination.
  • Make rejected versions clearly distinct from the media the team should use.

Keep the approved version easy to recognize

Suppose the editor produced three openings for a customer explanation. You chose the clearest one, but all three files still sit together. The person preparing posts should not need to search an old chat to discover which file won.

Use review status to make that decision visible. The current media review guide explains the review workflow. Declining an unused option records that it is not the version to move forward.

The week's create-from-media change shortened the next handoff. Begin the post with the intended file, then check its title, caption, channel and format. Those choices still matter even when the media selection is correct.

The Working with Posts guide explains the current post workflow. Finish one example together so the editor and reviewer understand the same route from a chosen edit to a draft.

This week: Our account disruption made retaining material and keeping several ways to reach an audience more important. The immediate task was to keep useful work moving while the platform issue was unresolved.
