A useful post can still lose a potential customer if the next page is confusing or unfinished. We were working on website polish, onboarding communication and marketing. The lesson for a small team is to review the whole route a viewer will take.
Progress update from 12 June 2026. Some website pages were still awaiting deployment.
TL;DR
Clipflow updates
- The week focused on polish and fixes rather than a major feature release.
- Work included landing pages, feature illustrations and onboarding emails.
- Unfinished pages and links needed checking before deployment.
Putting it to work
- Test the link and destination attached to your next post.
- Make the post, page and next action answer the same customer need.
Follow the customer's route once
Imagine a short video explains what happens during your first consultation. Its caption sends viewers to book, but the destination page only describes your business generally. The viewer has to find the explanation again and decide what to do next.
Before publishing, open the link as a customer would. Check that it leads to the intended page, that the page gives the promised information and that the next action is visible. Ask someone outside the recording session to try it too.
We ran into the same coordination problem while building new pages. A page could look complete in isolation while related parts were still unfinished. The review needed to consider the route through the work, including its links.
Put the destination in the brief
Keep the purpose and intended link with the project. The current Project Pages guide explains how scripts, notes and references stay attached to the work.
For the consultation video, tell the editor what the viewer should understand before clicking. That helps them preserve the explanation instead of making a broad promotional clip that the destination cannot fulfill.
When reviewing the post, read the caption and destination alongside the finished edit. Fixing an unclear link is often a smaller job than recording another video, and it makes the material you already have more useful.
This week: AI can speed up website production, but the result still needs a coherent review. Generating a page quickly does not remove the responsibility to check the experience someone will have after it goes live.
