Claude & MCP

Run your content week from a chat with Claude.

Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Clipflow and it can see your projects, footage, posts and results. Ask what worked, pull old footage into new drafts and set up the next project between meetings.

How it works

Connect once, then ask from any chat.

  1. Step 1

    Add the Clipflow server

Paste the server address into Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT or another remote MCP client, then sign in with Clipflow.

  2. Step 2

    Choose the organizations

Tick the brands it can see on the consent screen. A new connection can only read, and an admin switches on write access for drafts.

  3. Step 3

    Ask in plain words

Ask what shipped or what’s due this week, and it answers from your live projects in the same chat.

What you can ask

Your Clipflow workspace, answering inside the chat.

See what worked this month

Ask which posts pulled the most views and it reads your Clipflow analytics across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, then tells you what to make more of.

Catch up on the week

Ask what shipped, what’s overdue or what Sam has on, and the answer comes from your live projects.

Start a project

Talk an idea through, then have it set up the project from your template with the due date and team filled in.

Keep clients separate

It only sees the organizations you approve, so an agency can connect one client at a time.

Turn unused footage into a draft

Ask Claude Code which approved videos haven’t gone out. It reads their transcripts, picks the strongest idea and drafts the post in your project with the file attached.

The draft waits for your team to review and schedule.

Frequently asked questions

What can I ask it to do?
Ask what worked, what shipped, what’s overdue, who has what or which footage hasn’t been used. With write access it can also draft posts, create and update projects, upload files and import design templates.
Which assistants does it work with?
Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT in developer mode and other remote MCP clients. The MCP Server help article has the steps for each.
Who decides what gets published?
Your team. No tool publishes or deletes, so everything an assistant drafts goes through your normal review and scheduling.
How do I let it create drafts?
A new connection is read-only. An organization admin sets the access level to Write and turns on the write permissions under Organization settings, API & Connected Apps.
Can it see every organization I belong to?
It only reaches the organizations you approve on the consent screen, which starts with none ticked.
Can it make images?
Your assistant’s own tools render images, and the upload tools put the finished files into Clipflow for your team.
How is this different from AI Agents?
AI Agents work inside your workspace. MCP connects an assistant outside Clipflow to your organization, and it needs its own setup.
