When a founder and editor refine the same explanation, separate copies can create more confusion than the edits solve. Keeping the current script, feedback and decisions together gives both people a clear reference point for the next revision.
Progress update from 23 March 2026. Real-time collaboration was still being finished; linked guides cover the current writing workflow.
TL;DR
Clipflow updates
- The team was finishing real-time page collaboration requested by an active customer.
- A new team member's perspective was helping the team try different content ideas.
- Individual short-form experiments produced stronger results on our accounts.
Putting it to work
- Keep the current explanation in the project instead of circulating revised copies.
- Make the feedback specific enough that the next edit tests an idea.
Work from the same explanation
For a founder video, the editor might improve pacing while the founder corrects a technical claim. If those changes happen in separate documents, somebody has to decide which copy is current before the recording can continue.
We were developing real-time collaboration so people could edit the same page together. The current Project Pages guide covers keeping the script attached to its project. Confirm today's collaboration behavior before depending on simultaneous editing.
Agree who owns the final explanation. Shared access makes a change easier to see, but it does not decide whether a claim is accurate or whether the founder has approved it.
Give a new idea a clear test
A fresh perspective can also improve the explanation. The team tried ideas that had not come from a formal strategy exercise and saw stronger results on particular posts.
For your business, test a different opening around an answer you already know is useful. Keep the source explanation, describe the change and review the published result. That makes the experiment teach something even when it does not outperform the previous version.
Preserve the learning with the next brief. A shared project becomes more valuable when it holds the reasoning behind the work as well as the words being edited.
