Keep the production brief connected to the final post

A video can pass through planning, editing and approval, then lose its context during a separate publishing step. We were building a more connected route from production to publication so the final handoff kept the brief, media and destination together.

Progress update from 23 February 2026. Publishing work was in development and required platform approvals; it had not launched publicly.

TL;DR

Clipflow updates

  • The team was building publishing capabilities to connect the end of the production workflow.
  • Analytics development and platform integration work continued.
  • Agency signups were helping shape the priority of those handoffs.

Putting it to work

  • Keep the intended audience and destination with the edit.
  • Make someone responsible for checking the final caption and published result.

Preserve the reason the video was made

Suppose an editor finishes a customer explanation and another teammate handles its posts. That teammate needs more than the file: which audience is it for, what action fits and which channel should carry the version?

Keep those decisions beside the brief. The current Working with Posts guide explains how posts live with their projects today. That relationship makes the final handoff easier to follow.

Completing that route required handling platform limits and approval requirements. Those dependencies mattered even when an internal demonstration worked. A preview should not be mistaken for something every customer could use that week.

Check the last mile too

Use the current scheduling guide for today's placement and publishing setup. Confirm the caption, media, channel and intended time before treating the job as complete.

After the first run, check the result on the platform. Connecting the workflow saves repeat handling, while that final check ensures the explanation your team approved is the one customers actually see.
