How the Ideas Screen Works

A Space for Early Concepts

The Ideas screen is not for active projects — it’s for:

• Brainstorming
• Draft thoughts
• Unstructured content ideas
• Quick notes you want to revisit later Nothing you add here affects your production workflow until you decide it should.

Add Details to an Idea

Inside each idea you can:

• Add links
• Attach files
• Write notes
• Flesh out concepts
• Leave comments with your team This makes it easy to develop ideas before they become real projects.

Collaborate in the Planning Stage

Your team can:

• Review early thoughts
• Comment on ideas
• Add inspiration or reference materials
• Help refine concepts before production begins It’s a shared space for top-of-funnel ideation.

Converting an Idea Into a Project

Drag and Drop

When an idea is ready to move forward:

• Drag it from the Ideas column into any production column (e.g., Draft, Write, Edit)Clipflow will automatically convert the idea into a project.
• You can also select to convert to project inside the idea from the top right.

What Happens After Conversion

Once an idea becomes a project, you instantly unlock:

• Tasks
• Packaging
• Media files
• Thumbnails
• Pages
• Channels
• Full collaboration tools It becomes a complete, structured workspace for production.

Once converted, all Clipflow tools become available for full production.
