How to find out which content is earning attention and decide what to post next

Ask Claude or ChatGPT to read your Clipflow analytics, spot patterns in your top posts and suggest what to make next.

Updated

Stop guessing why some posts land and others do not

You are posting all the time and nothing seems to be growing. The numbers are all in Clipflow, but reading through them to find a pattern is the kind of job that never makes it to the top of your list. Your assistant can do that reading for you and come back with what to make next.

This prompt only reads, so it works on a brand new connection. See Set Up Your Assistant to connect.

The prompt

Use my Clipflow analytics for the last 90 days in the [organization name] organization.

  1. Tell me how views, followers and engagement changed compared with the 90 days before.
  2. Look at my top posts and my weakest recent posts, and read their captions. What do the top posts share in topic, format and opening line?
  3. Tell me what to stop making, and what to make more of.
  4. Suggest [three] specific posts for next week.

Only use numbers from Clipflow. If there are too few posts to draw a conclusion, say so rather than guessing.

Saves, shares and comments often tell you more than views. If you want the assistant to weigh them, add “Rank posts by saves and shares, then by views.”

Narrow the question

The same prompt gets sharper when you ask about one thing.

  • One channel. “Only look at Instagram.”
  • One format. “Compare Reels with carousels over the last 90 days.”
  • One topic or series. “Only look at posts with customer story in the title,” or name a label if your team uses them.
  • A set month. “Use last month,” or give start and end dates.

Connect it to leads

Clipflow’s analytics cover how your posts perform on each platform, and enquiries live in your own systems. You can still ask the question by giving your assistant both sides.

Here is a list of the enquiries we received over the last 90 days, with dates and how they found us: [paste list].

Compare it with my Clipflow posts from the same period. Which topics came up in both, and which posts went out shortly before a busy week?

Treat the answer as a hunch to test, because a post and an enquiry landing in the same week does not prove one caused the other. Do not paste anything into the chat that your privacy rules would keep out of it. If you add tracking links to your posts, you will have firmer numbers to compare in Clipflow itself.

Turn the answer into posts

When the suggestions look right, stay in the same chat:

Draft the first two in the [project name] project as Instagram Reels, with a title and caption. Create a project for the third and add [name].

Then mark them Ready in Review → Posts once you have read them. For a wider view of your gaps, run Fill an Empty Content Week.

Good to know

  • Only connected channels count. Analytics come from your connected accounts, so a channel that is not connected will be missing.
  • The analysis covers your top 20 posts. Your assistant sees the top 20 and the most recent 20 for a period. Narrow by channel or date to look further.
  • Your assistant cannot see the post itself. It works from titles, captions and numbers, so it will not notice that the top post had a better thumbnail.
  • Small accounts need longer. A handful of posts will not show a pattern, so use the 90 day view and read the result as a starting point.
