How to manage your Clipflow profile, sign-in and time zone across every workspace
Update your Clipflow profile, time zone, sign-in details, theme, and organization roles from one place.
Updated

Keep the settings that follow you from one organization to the next under control
Your profile is personal and follows you across every organization you belong to. Set it once and it covers your own brand, agency, and every client workspace you are part of.
Organization settings are separate. Those affect everyone. See Managing Your Organization.
Before you start
Open your profile from your avatar in the top corner of the app. Everything below lives there.
Step 1: Set your name and photo
Upload a profile photo and check your display name.
This matters more than it sounds. Comments, task assignments, review threads, and mentions all identify people by name and face. A workspace where half the team is a grey circle is measurably harder to read.
Step 2: Set your time zone
Your time zone drives:
- Task due dates
- Scheduled publish times
- How deadlines appear to you across the team
Get this right before you schedule anything. A post set for 4:00 PM publishes against your time zone, and a team spread across countries will disagree about when “Friday” ends unless everyone’s zone is set correctly.
Step 3: Choose your theme
Switch between light and dark. This is your interface only and does not change what your team sees.
You can also switch your theme from the global shortcut anywhere in Clipflow, without returning to your profile.
Step 4: Check your email and password
You can update your login email and your password here. Changing your email requires verifying the new address before it takes effect.
If you signed in with Google, there is no password on the account to change. See Creating Your Account.
Your organizations and roles
Your profile lists every organization you belong to, the type of each one, and the role you hold in it.
| Role | What it means |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control, including billing and deleting the organization |
| Admin | Manage settings, team, channels, and automations |
| Member | Work on projects across the organization |
| Restricted member | Work only on what they are assigned to |
| Supplier | An external contractor working on assigned projects |
| Restricted supplier | A contractor limited to specific work |
| Guest | View and comment on what has been shared with them |
Your role decides what you can change and who you can invite. An admin can invite admins, suppliers, and members; an owner can also hand over ownership.
Only owners, admins, and members count toward your plan’s seats. Guests and suppliers do not. See Plans and Billing.
Onboarding and badges
Onboarding can be switched back on if you want to revisit the introductory walkthrough, or switched off once you know your way around.
Badges such as Early Adopter mark accounts that joined and backed Clipflow early. They change nothing about what you can do.
Tips and best practices
- Set the time zone before your first scheduled post, not after you find one published at the wrong hour.
- Use the same photo your team knows you by. Recognition across comment threads is the entire point.
- Use your work email if you are in a company workspace. Access follows the address, and separating a personal account from a company one later is tedious.
- Check your role before asking for help. Half of “I cannot find that setting” turns out to be a member looking for an admin screen.
Frequently asked questions
Does changing my theme affect my team?
No. Theme, time zone, and onboarding are yours alone.
Can I be an owner in one organization and a guest in another?
Yes. Roles are per organization, and most agency users hold several different ones.
I changed my time zone. Do existing scheduled posts move?
Scheduled times are stored against the schedule, not re-interpreted. Check anything already queued after a change.
How do I change my email?
Update it in your profile and verify the new address. Your access and organizations move with you.
I do not have a password to change.
You signed up with Google. Keep signing in that way, or use the password reset flow to set one.
Can I leave an organization?
Ask an owner or admin to remove you. Owners need to transfer ownership before leaving.
